Terms and Conditions of classes
Please be aware that a 24 hour cancellation policy applies for private classes. If you are unable to attend a private session please notify Rachel’s Pilates via e-mail or phone at least 24 hours before the session. The full amount will be charged if a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or it is not attended.
If I am unable to attend any private session, I will endeavour to rearrange the session to your convenience. If, however, a date cannot be found a full refund for that session will be made.
You can purchase private sessions with a discounted price (see website) in blocks of 5 or 10. These sessions do have an expiry date agreed with the instructor upon booking. Packages are transferable upon agreement with Rachel’s Pilates, but they are non-refundable. There is also a pay-as-you-go price for private sessions.
You can purchase group classes with a discounted price in course blocks. These are only valid for classes of the specific course period and not afterwards. Missed classes are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class then you may be able to make it up at another time with prior agreement with Rachel’s Pilates, subject to availability and within the current course dates.
There is also a drop-in or pay-as-you-go option for group sessions.
Please note that group classes may not be suitable for people recovering from injuries and/or are pregnant.
As a courtesy to other participants, it is expected that you arrive on time for the start of a class.
Private and Group Classes
Private sessions and group classes are always subject to availability. Booking is required.
All private sessions and group classes are non-refundable, but may be in some cases transferable upon agreement with the instructor.
Ultimate responsibility in assessing the suitability and safety of any class, session or exercise must rest upon the client. Rachel’s Pilates will endeavour to ensure the client has completed the relevant health questionnaire, if any questions have been answered “yes” the responsibility lies with the client to obtain any necessary professional approval for the suitability of any exercise regime undertaken. It is the responsibility of the client to update and inform Rachel’s Pilates of any changes in their specific or general health conditions that may or may not effect the suitability of any exercise regime entered in.
Before your first session clients will be asked to fill out and sign a registration form which includes a medical questionnaire and agree to the terms and conditions set out above.
